LED GB, Gauging Interest

I am still working out details with a supplier, but I would like to see how many people would be interested in this type of package.

For those that are unsure, replacing OEM bulbs with LEDs have a world of benefits (safety and cosemetics).

I am still working out the exact details of the number of bulbs, but lets say...$160 USD shipped (just a really rough estimation, figuring we own high end cars...a few $$$ here or there is not a big deal). The point being that I will work out the best price based on delivery areas, size of GB, size per location, etc.

G35 Coupe:

Front turn signal-7440 5LED 360 Degree Red x 2

Rear turn signal-7440 5LED 360 Degree Red x 2

License plate-194 6LED Focused superwhites x 2

Back up light-921/906 9LED Fwd Facing superwhites x 2

Front sidemarker-I think there are two, the one on the side dehind the
orange reflector and one in the headlights on the outside edges.
5LED 360 Degree x 4?

Rear sidemarker-194 Red 5LED 360 Degree x 2

Map light
DE3175 31mm 6LED x 2

Dome light
DE3175 31mm 6LED dome x 1?

Step/Courtesy light
DE3022 31mm 6LED dome x 2

Load equalizers for signals x 2

I will be also sourcing a package for the Sedan and for the 350Z

Great idea

I wish someone had done this before I did all of mine on my own.

I will say this though, besides the clean color that you get with LED's, they really are pretty pointless to use on the reverse indicator. The LED's I choose for that application are forward facing and 360 degree. Unfortunately, the light bulb mounts vertically (on the Y axis) and the bulb end/top shoots straight up. Because my LED's are also 360 degree, they are visible, but the incandescent bulbs are MUCH brighter due to the fact that the light is not as 'directional' as the LED's.

Many of my previous cars had the reverse lights mount horizontally (on the X axis) with the end/top pointing outward, which were PERFECT for a LED bulb.

That being said, again, you still get the clean color of the LED's when used in the reverse indicator housing. Just becareful backing up in the daylight.

Take care,
LC

thanks for the info...still researching myself. The goal of this is to insure we do get a great price...it only makes sense.

Maybe I was a premature in this post, but just wanted to see the type of response.

I guess the idea is also to have "all" the bulbs you need in one package at one defined price. No guess work...etc.
