Who Has Replica Side Skirts? How Is The Fitment?

I was thinking about getting replica side skirts. Not sure which ones though. What has everyone else experienced? Any suggestions?

G352NV,

Where did you get the replica Ings skirts? I've been doing a lot of reading (on this site), and have been debating - I want the full Ings kit, and I want it in poly. Unfortunately, my only option is a replica... I've heard different places use different distributers, and that could have some play... Thanks.

Yeah, I've heard ED is horrible too.

350forums has some great stuff, but I've heard that some members had problems with certain kits. I have a set of Kenstyle sideskirts. I cant say anything about the fitment yet, but it seems nice and sturdy. The finish could be better though. Overall, its nothing an experienced bodyshop cant handle. And by experience, I mean experience with aftermarket fiberglass bodykits. Not just experience with autobody repairs

Also, from other members that have bought the full Ings kit from 350forums, they usually say that the front is perfect, the back needs a little bit of elbow grease to fit nice and snug, and the sideskirts usually fit fine, but the finish could be better. A bodyshop just needs to smoothen the surface... its no biggy.

I dont see why David would resell kits from ED when he gets better quality kits from a different source. I know his source personally, and I know ED. I also know they are definitely not one in the same. Im completely lost as to why Dave would sell you something from ED. If you know for a fact that its ED, then I'm wrong... but at least you can understand where I'm coming from. I guess its hard to tell from just reading words from forum posts, but I respect you... and didnt mean to insult you in anyway. I've challenged you in other topics, but its because you're views sometimes seem very black and white, and I'm just pushing the gray side of things.... but thats neither here nor there.

350forums, care to chime in about your sideskirts?

Just the FG version. I havent done much research intot he quality of their poly versions since they didnt have it around the time when I was shopping for my bodykit. From what I hear, its pretty much a perfect fit... but dont take my word for it. Do some research and find some people who actually have the poly versions. Look for a personal testimony... not "hear say".
