with the ings kit...you dont HAVE to get a spoiler but it depends on the color. on dark cars, i dont think you need one. i feel dark colors like black hides the shape of the body. So a spoiler on a black car, to me, doesnt give the definition that would make it look awesome..now with lighter colored cars, a spoiler looks awesome cause you can see all the shapes and lines.
as for me, i really wanted a aftermarket spoiler just to make my car stand out a little more. but the more i think about it, the oem spoiler is the best looking. All the other ones just look out of place.
in conclusion....get an oem spoiler with your ings kit. just like the pic above (DG with ings kit and oem spoiler) looks awesome...tasteful yet aggressive but not overdone. i guess people like the word "CLEAN" (way overused word IMO)

silverboat definetlty no spoiler, it ruins the clean looks of the g35 IMO, i went spoilerless, and to me it looks a lot better, the spoiler just takes away from it and doesn't look as clean, especially with the ings+1 kit looking so OEM, I think you should leave it alone... i never really like any type of spoilers on any car, i prefer the clean look, and i really dont like the factory OEM spoiler, i think it looks like an ironing board... here's some pics of mine spoilerless...

Good pics NYCkid def lookin good without the spoiler. Your car is black so it looks CLEAN & MEAN at the same time haha i like the sound of that...I agree the oem looks ltoo flat liek a board thus making it look way pointless, I'm sureits not but it def looks like it.

If only there was a spoiler like the data system, but was just a little wider. Something like a three peice that flows on to the body. The impul is a three peiece, but it doesnt flow on to the body. Maybe I just might go custom

the data systems doesnt look good cause it isnt wide enough. it looks very off from certain angles. i actually dont mind the inpul. ive seen some in person on Ip and it looks pretty good. BUT its too subtle. the whoel point with an aftermarket spoiler is to stand out.
i was also thinking about custom. i actually really liek the way this prelude spoiler looks. i tried to get it to fit..too bad it doesnt...
or this---i was trying to get this to fir on our cars..its kinda liek the data system- but flatter and wider...

if you going custom..let me know..im down..im in 626 also
a spoiler on any car just looks wrong. one day you or someone else will be lookin at the lines and curves of your car, and then all of a sudden there's this massive 2x4 sitting on the trunk that causes some visual interference and haults fluidity. imho, havin a spoiler is the wrong way to go...
i think it looks pretty damn amazing with out one. but im a spoiler guy so if u think u want 1 get it. but if the only reason ur gettin it is bc u think it needs 1 it def doesnt it looks so clean and sleek with out imo
Thats a problem i've been having too, i have a black coupe, but i really like the spoiler, i think with the ings kit, its all up to you man, everyones got their own opinions. If you want a more "sport aggressive look" go for the spoiler, a more "clean subtle look" go for the non spoiler look, and keep the extra money in your pocket for something else. Others opinions help, but its mainly yours that matters most.
