I am planning on changing out the stock fogs when I get my car to match the HIDs. But the 05s used H4 bulbs that double up as high beams also. Now that the high beams are incorporated into the projector HIDs, which bulb do I get to match the fogs to the HIDs? Same H4, just that the highs wont work, or some other single filament bulb??? Thanks

 

I don't think you would want to use the H4 since it is a dual filamet bulb. Maybe the H7, or something similar......play it safe and check with the dealer....or in the owners manual.

 

Got hold of the manual, the fogs are H1 lamps in the 2006. Do all these hyper white bulbs come with a blue coating on the bulb? I would prefer to have a clear bulb with the same kind of light output. I am not for having a blue tint to the housing. If anyone knows where to find these clear bulbs please help me out. Also is T10 the same as 168 wedge???
