Has anyone replaced the factory fog light bulbs with a true yellow bulb? If anyone has any pics of it, please post. I am contemplating on ordering a set.

 

haven't seen anyone actually change there fogs to a true yellow. everyone i hear from this forum complains on the bulb being to yellow. your the opposite

 

I changed my headlights to super white and my fogs to true yellow.
I think it looks great.

 

i've seen it on a white G before and it looks pretty good. i was about to do the same but i got some raybrig instead b/c the guy told me it would match my PIAAs but it doesn't. when i turn it on at night, the place that it beams on to looks kinda green.

 

i'm actually about to get those yellow fog bulbs in.. when i install them i'll take a pic.. i've seen it done before and think it looks very very clean..

 

I just ordered a set of yellow PIAA bulbs...once they come in, i'll take some pics and post up.

 

I have them on my car right now. I have the PIAA ION yellows. They are VERY yellow with different hues of blue and purple. I'm actually taking them out now and putting in 3000K HID bulbs which will be even brighter. 3000K is like Lemans porsche style.

Moog, how did you get that clearance light to match perfectly? What bulb did you use?

 

The yellow sets the color off nice and the yellow will be very functional with the fog...

 

i have the yellow light bulbs in right now on a IP sedan, and i love it especially when you hit your high beams the whole road becomes yellow, MOOG what blubs or system did you use to get the blubs that yellow so jealous, let me know i will buy ASAP, mine are yellow, but you gotta look at them and youll c it, i want it to be like dude, your lights are yellow.

 

Yea, i want to see it too. I have an IP coupe myself. Still haven't decide what bulb to go with. I think the cystal ion color is very unique. PIAA made a pair. Cost $89 in J-town
