Splash Guards on 2006-Not available?

I've been told (by a Norcal dealer) that splash guards have not been developed for the 2006 G Coupe yet and 2005 guards won't fit. Can anyone confirm this?

If you go to Infiniti.com and build a G35, splash guards are an option for $210. I can understand that they may be somewhat different due to the new side sills on the 6MT. But you definitely can get them.

I explained that to the guy but he claims that the website isn't always accurate.

Website still says this about the 6MT
G35 Coupe 6MT: Accelerate with a 6-speed manual transmission with short throw shifter, Brembo brakes, 7-spoke 18" alloy wheels, and limited-slip rear differential.
Not very accurate...

I'm looking at the 2006 factory accessory guide and it's showing the same parts front and rear for the splash guards as the earlier models (just in the newer colors for 06). They have a list price of $85 per set (front and rear).

i just installed rear mud guards on my 06 coupe, and i can confirm that the 06 g coupe uses the same exact rear mud guards as the previous models. i just went with the rear, so im not sure about the front since they have different side skirts.

Thanks for clarifying this. I guess if there's a 2006 accessory guide with guards then they must be available. Not sure where some dealership parts managers get their info from???????????

Thanks--wondering why you went with rear only?

One reason I didnt order the splashguards is cuz they changed the side skirts and I wanted to see what they did to the splash guards. The picture on the website looks very different from the 05 splash guard ( the front one ). It sticks out more and looks very ugly. I didnt know if it was just the picture or they really changed it so I am holding off till I see them in person and then add it if it hasnt changed for the worse.

splash guard pics?

Can anyone post some real pictures (not from inifiti.com) of splash guards? I am trying to figure out what the difference is between the splash guards and the guards that I see with the aero kit (at least on the 2005). I am looking at buying either a 2005 or 2006 G35c and the dealer keeps telling me they are on all the vehicles he is quoting me on, but I have no idea what they look like, and they cant seem to explain it. Thanks.

i just got it for cosmetic reasons... it makes the rear looks like it has a kit. also i like how the new side skirts look, so i just left it alone.

Looking at the official Nissan Motor Co Accessory guide that dealers have.
And sorry about the bad wording, it's $85 per set, not for all 4. Infiniti.com lists them at $170 for the full set of four on the website too.

CONFIRMATION!!!

I am really pissed. I just got the 06 6MT two weeks ago. Part of the deal was the addition of the splash guards for free. The salesman indicated that the 06' front guards are different and will have to be ordered.

Last week I dropped the car off for the installation for the guards and customed wheels. Apparently the one that they ordered do not fit and will have to re-order the fronts.

I just got off the phone a few minutes ago. The dealer confirmed with Infiniti that the front splash guards are NOT AVAILABLE for the sport suspension.

I can't believe this. I need a few minutes to think this thru. What do yall guys suggest?
