Edit- I noticed you already had the wall pics...but do you have any from about 20 feet from a wall?

Great pics.

Quick question: I have an '06 on order and was wondering how easy is it to swap out the bulbs. Is it plug and play, or do you have to remove a bunch of stuff to get to it. I'm interested in the 6000K bulbs, but have to see what the OEM's look like before I shell out the extra cash (and go through the trouble).

Thanks.

I say stick with the OEM 4300k... they'll be brighter and eventually turn nice white. im guessing you'll have to buy new bulbs anyways because the bulbs we have in the car now is d2r....where as the HID bulbs for projectors are D2s. Unless you want to modify the D2r bulbs to be a D2s....but you gotta be careful

I would honestly stick with the 4300K D2S bulbs that will come with your new '06.

To remove the city light while the headlight is in your Car will be a bear!!!

I think you would have to remove your fender liner and wheel, remove the dust cover and use a small Looong pair of tweezers to remove the city light.

That's why it is suggested you have the car taken in to replace the bulbs, IMHO or order them and have the dealership replace before you take it off the lot?

Why would he modify his bulbs, he is getting an 06 which comes with projectors and d2s bulbs.

Oh....sorry i was thinking he was talking about having 06' headlights on order....not a new 06' car

But yeahh....IMHO i think it would be better to keep the OEM bulbs.... they'll start off yellowish....but will eventually turn nice n white. I say.....enjoy the light now....then the color later.

Nice pics. Bet you stand in your garage and look at them all the time now. I however dont understand everyones obsession with the clearance strip?? I think its useless and the G has too many lights on the front of it....

Can you adjust the headlights up and down like the '06's in the car?
