Hey guys, did anyone buy an original Top Secret bumper from Bullet Proof Automotive yet? If so, did it come with the license plate bracket that they were talking about that swivels in? They're telling me that they charge extra for the bracket, i paid 900 for the bumper, youd think the brackets would come with it. Anyone who bought from Bullet Proof, this would be a big help, thanks!

 

I didn't buy from Bullet Proof though I think they are seperate though. THe brackets are cheap anyhow. You can get them off ebay.

 

I have an authentic Top Secret Front bumper.... it does not come with the license plate bracket....

 

the reason im asking is because i got a stupid fix it ticket having no front plate and bulletproof is asking for 30 bucks just for the brackets. obviously im not keeping the front plate on cuz it looks ugly, so im trying to get this ticket written off without spending all this unnecessary money. anyone have any suggestions?

If it's the JDM License plate bracket... it costs about $25, but the great thing is there is 2 hinges, and allows you to pivot the license plate to the right angle, both up and down & Angle-wise... I gave in to this cause I didn't wanna deal with the po-po...

Bad thing is... it's made for a Japanese License plate, so you'll have to "drill" 2 additional holes to fit the American Plates...

The L Brackets worked for me (as mentioned)... but the angle was funky and off, so my friend got this for me. (Thanks to Ducatiguy )

I'll try to take a better pix of what it actually is... hard to see exactly in the pix, but you see the results.

I would highly recommend this... if you spent $1k for the bumper alone, what's another $25?
