Does anyone know how to blackout our headlights??

I was just wondeirng if there was a DIY on this like what i would need and the steps for blacking out the headlights. I did a search but i couldnt find anything.

There are step-by-step threads on this, but the basics are:

- Use heat gun to heat seal on headlight and split the halves open.
- Paint the metal insert, tint the glass, whatever mod you plan to do.
- Re-seal by heating adhesive seal again or apply new sealant.

That^s the very basics. Maybe someone will come in and give you a tip on the search criteria so you can find the full thread(s).

^Or you could just buy a set of BlueBatMobile Headlight overlays in the 6-10 tint and then they'd definitely be Blacked out.^

That^s what I did (the 6/10 GTR-2 overlays). Just need to put them on. Might do this myself.

You shouldnt have a problem... just follow Bat's directions and take your time thats the most important advice i can give you.

I do have a set of the older style overlays that I could use as practice, I suppose. Not sure if that's even needed.
