Hazy Headlights?

Are anyone's headlights hazy? It looks like it's dirty or got condenstation in it? I know its not condensation, but that's what it looks like. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a dealer fix issue? Thanks.

Be careful our headlights are UV coated with a thin layer of plastic, that sometimes separates and peels off. The plaztex plastx products will return it to new but will sripe that coating. Meating you have to keep using it to keep it from turning yellow.

get some 3M Plastic Polish and put some elbow grease into it. 10 minutes and your headlights will look like new.

Does the 3M stuff take off that UV layer? Isn't there something to put another layer of UV protection on it?

Well, the 3M product will protect your lights. I sending out a warning because if you rub too hard or too long you will take off that layer and will have to do the whole lense to make it look right.

Most plastic polish and cleaners have UV protectants in them!

So here I am, washing the car...when wet, the lights look great, dry them and turn them on...they have that fog as you guys have mentioned. Thats really a UV coating and not the plastic oxidizing?
