Final thoughts before making body kit purchase - tips please

Hi - and thanks for taking a minute to help me out.

After about 5 months of researching, saving, and pricing both kit and painting, i have made a final decision. I have decided to go with authentic Greddy front, Greddy side from http://www.intensepower.com/grgrfrbug35c.html / http://www.intensepower.com/grsiskg35co.html . As for a rear bumper, i have been wanting to get an authentic Kenstyle rear only because i want perfection, i dont want something that wont fit correctly on one side or off by an inch on another. With this in mind, finding a kenstyle authentic rear is close to imposible. Therefor, i have decided to just go with a type KS - replica - rear from http://www.autosportz.com/bodykits_0...35_type_ks.htm .

Now, what i would like to know is if anyone could please share their experience with a replica Type KS rear, durability, fitting, and how much prep is needed before painting. Also, i am rideing on stock 19" rims at the moment and expect about 1 1/2 inch clearance on stock suspention for the geddy front bumper, correct me if i am wrong.

Authentic greddy front and sides will be 1072.80 shipped, and a type KS rear will be 838.99 shipped. Can anyone offer a better price or point me in the right direction to get the best?

As for the grill's to fill the holes in the greddy/kenstyle i had a page bookmarked that offered mesh's for nearly all the g35's needs (i unfortunately lost this when i had to reformat my computer), can anyone please direct me in the correct direction?

Paint and install will be 600 from a very reputable local paintshop that worked on cars that went to HIN and did a 95 mustang conversion (added a vet rear and 05 gt front). Total cost: $2511.79 - Painted & Installed

Anyone please feel free to both encourage and disencourage my expenses and how i could make this a clean purchase/install.

Future Mods:
-Exhaust
-Rims

Knock offs are hit and miss on fitment. As more of one style has been copied they seem to get worse. Copies of copies. If you do buy a knock off and it fits great the shop will then have to sand the glaze the bumper then block it, then prime, seal and paint. This will cost you a bunch. If you buy a real one they will hit it will 180 then prime seal and paint, less work. Shops are getting smarter when it comes to this kind of stuff. Back in the day they didnt know what they were getting into but now most of them know and this is what ends up costing you!

you should definitely PM coupin827.... not only does he have a replica KS rear (which i have seen personally and fits pretty good with alittle bit of elbow grease)

he also runs customautomesh.com along with fellow G35Driver member Diesel1. this is the website that offers all the meshes for G35 body kits
