I am mainly concerned with the deep scratch in the sixth picture. Will that disappear with good body work?
Did any of you guys get a spoiler with a drilled hole like in picture seven?
I think I have to contact the seller soon.

How much did you pay for it? I spent around $400 (not painted).
If they claimed that they were selling you the real Data System Spoiler from Japan and they sent you a "Copy" then that's pretty much misrepresentation or false advertising and you could probably take them to court (but probably not worth the trouble to recoup a few hundred dollars).
If its a copy, I'm sure they know that it's a copy and they'll probably give you some bs runaround like its the real thing. Therefore, you can try to ask them what happened to the Japanese Instruction Kit, Mounting Tape (about 1.5cm wide, NOT 3M), and Illusion decal that comes with the original. The real original should have came with those things. I imported on directly from Data System.
Reason why I know this is that a friend of mine in the aftermarket business made a mold of the Nismo spoiler for the 350Z in China (cheapest way to get knock-offs) and he got really pissed off at them b/c they unauthorizedly used that mold to fabricate other replicas and probably made more profits over there and in turn, messed up the mold. Those knock off molds only have like 30-50 piece shelf life before they get warped and the knock-offs made no longer fit snug (due to warping, wear and tear) and that's what the spoiler looks like.
Keep in mind, I may totally be wrong and Data System/Illusion changed their manufacturing process. If you could contact them in Japan somehow and show pictures of your spoiler to verify authenticity and it wasn't the real thing, it might **** them off enough, they could sue the vendor in court.
Sorry for the long post. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions.

One more thing, I say getting a refund from the vendor or having them send you the real spoiler would be your best case scenario if it is the replica.
Remember to speak to the person high on the todem pole not just the sales rep or person at the bottom that has no power to do the refund, etc.

This just got brought to my attention right now. (was in Japan) Looks like we've filed a shipping claim (it was shipped insured) but honestly, it looks like Data Systems didn't have good quality control on that particular piece. (it's hard to tell without seeing the piece in person) We can also file a complaint with the supplier but honestly, as was already mentioned, when the part is prepped and painted, you won't notice a difference. (and it doesn't look like it will need much prep work)
As far as it being real, Riche12ich - We don't sell anything but authentic products. Search the boards and you'll find plenty of posts by me hating on fake/counterfeit copies. We simply don't do business/sell and of that stuff. It sounds to me like you were frauded by whoever sold you your wing. We've brought over lots of Data System parts and if memory serves me right, none of it was the color you're describing.

i recently brought the spoiler to my body shop. They said it fixable but they spoiler should never have arrived in this condition. Bulletproof is shifting the blame to the original manufacturer even though they claim to inspect everything before they ship it out. I guess they just ship stuff without knowing what's inside. What's a reasonable compensation?
Ive had a bit of trouble like this, and you'll get the run around all day long. Plain and simple, you don't pay 400 $ for a used, warped spoiler. This should not happen, and don't pay to have a bodyshop fix it for you. Get a new one sent to you if not more 1/2 off another product in turn, or even like free clear corners. (just what i would do if i owned the company). That is weak and i'd return it tomorrow. And just tough it out or get a differnt spoiler if need be.
Sorry about that spoiler, that sucks.
