I am having the XPEL film put on my 2006 G35C 6 Speed this weekend. The installer e-mail me and asked if I had the base or sport bumper. I thought they all had the same bumper? Is the "Sport" maybe what they call the aero package?

If it helps, I have the templates showing the differences. It almost looks like the lower intakes are different.

Does anyone know anything about this?

If you have an 06 6MT coupe, you have the sport bumper. I got my clearbra put on mine one day after buying the car.

 

All 2006 6mt cars and automatic Sport package cars come bundled with the Aero package.

The new Aero package consists of a new front bumper, new "scooped out" side sills, and that thing on the rear deck.

 

That's not necessarily true...My 06 6MT coupe did not come with the rear deck lid (read: spoiler). On the 6MT, the Sport-tuned Suspension Package come with "Unique front fascia and side sills" <-from Infiniti's website.

The Aero Package is the rear decklid spolier and rear side air diffuser.

 

That is what I was thinking. While at the dealer, I saw NO differences in the aero and non-aero cars other than the rear deck spoiler.
