Wow, I would love to see the readings of a strain guage mounted towards the front center of that alumium hood! I can only imagine the amount of stress that hood is subjected to by lifting it in the air by the rear corners!

 

I will tell you in the last four months my hood has been up and down more then any hood should ever be,lol. It shows NO problems.

 

REAL carbon fiber...and i forgot to take more pics but i took care of everything and have both batter covers back on. check back tomorrow...email me if you have any questions or interest

ive tested it out a lot...there is hardly any hood flex and there really isn't much stress...you have to see it in person. it looks SO much better in person

 

Sundevil: so are going to be selling these dampers?....or is just a custom thing you got done?

Its wrapped one way or another. Those are Tein shocks.

 

they are not tein...and the shocks obviously cannot be made out of all carbon fiber. but it is real carbon fiber wrapped on it. it is not a custom job either. please email me with any interests...
