Question About to install a CF hood, can I do it by myself? LOOKING FOR ADVICE!

Hey wuz up

I am going to install my CF hood, and I was wondering if I can do it by myself?? It seems like there is only 4 bolts holding the hood and the hood (stock) is pretty light. Do you guys have any advice on how to install it, so I would have an even gap on both sides or any kind of advice... I got the ViS Fuzion Hood.

Thanks a lot for the help

it's much easier with a friend.. less risk of scratches or damage

if the fittament on the CF hood is great then you will have no problems.. for me the fittamnent was so bad that i had to take it to a body shop before mine fit right..

Yes, get someone to help you... So they can hold up the opposite side of the hood that you are working on. You might have to re-adjust your locking mechanizm up to get your hood to latch. This is done by loosening two bolts in the front and pulling up on it while you re-tighten. I had to do this on my Seibon Hood to get it to latch.

Love the Hood!

I just got it installed. It only took me 10mins with help of my friend. Everthing fits just fine, the only thing is that where the hood latch is, there is like a movment when you push down on the hood it goes up and down. It has less than 2mm of play room. Is there anyway I adjust that??

Thanks
