To those who have installed Kuruma Z bumper

I just got my Kuruma bumper and did a test fit last night. I wanted to get it on before paint to make sure there are no problems. It went on great, but what has everyone done on the underside. Did you use the same bolt holes? It seems like that would be a pain since its not the same as the stock bumper? And they are the only holes on the Kuruma that arent already there for you. Thanks

Yah basically use your stock mudguard as a guide to holes. Get some kind of a marker (perhaps white out) so that you can mark where you need to drill the holes. We can easily drill the holes. The problem is that if we are off slightly then you have to redrill the holes anyways.

We drill the top ones so that you can at least test fit the bumper, and then either redrill it to make sure it fits your car. Believe it or not the 4 G35's we used when making this bumper were different. Either the mudguard was damaged or drivers fender was off etc...

Maybe someone can confirm but STILLEN doesn't even drill the holes... So I thought it would be a good idea to at least get customers started. But it doesn't mean they are 100% on... because of the different between G's. Basically make sure you drill the holes, measure twice and drill once before painting the bumper...

You can PM or email me if you have any questions! Best of Luck!

Yea, i am just being lazy. Like I said I was test fitting before I take it to paint to make sure everything was cool. It fit great, I cant wait to get it painted along with the left side of my car that was keyed. Thanks again Yuichi!

just to add my 2cents, i just installed original authentical greddy, and it all aligned perfectly....includeing the...mudguard? if thats what its called =P, only that the bodyshop didnt hook up my mudguard and left it dangling, little did i know that i dragged it on the highway back home and didnt notice, it ate up a good 3-4 inch's of the tip of it, so there is nothing to attach it too, i had to attach the last 3 bolts on each end, the middle was ate up....heh

so yea, hook up your mudguards!

Same **** happened to me! LOL

At highway speeds the air bent the mudguard backwards until it was scraping.

Im temorarily using Gorilla duct tape, and have had no problems for like 2 weeks. Even took it over 100mph
