Momo Shift ****

For anyone who can't stand the giant stock G35 shifter, I replaced mine with a Momo. It works great and was very easy to install. Just push down on the plastic ring at the base of the stock shifter. This exposes the retainer clip. Remover that and pull straight up on the ****. The stock **** comes right off. Remover the plastic adapter/extender from the end of the shifter (just pull up on it) and you are done. Momo includes instructions for the installation of their ****. It comes in brushed aluminum so it matches the interior, it moves the shift button to the top of the shifter, it's smaller, shorter, and looks great.

Re: Momo Shift ****

I got mine for around $100.00 after freight. You can type in "momo automatic shift" on yahoo and you will get several places that sell it for $105.00 some will ship for free if you ask.

It comes in aluminum or black "leather" stuff.

When you install it, make sure the button moves smoothly as you are tightening down the screws. If you tighten it down crooked, it will not operate smoothly. It should be very smooth when tight.

Have fun!!

Re: Momo Shift ****

Thanks for putting the pics up for me. Your right, it looks big in the pictures, but its about 3/4" shorter, and about 3/4" narrower than the stock piece. I wanted the button on top.

Re: Momo Shift ****

I remember I almost got that one for my auto Z... is that the Navan shifter? I can't remember the name... I've been trying to track that sucker down for the new G-ride. Looks sweeeeeeet.

Anybody know the compatibility for other auto shifters on the market? ie: can we take the same ones from all Nissan/Infiniti models, etc.

Re: Momo Shift ****

the one baseg35 put up is the Napolex LEVOC shifter. They have all kinds at www.napolex.com. I found the one in the pic for about $85.00 on the web.

The other one that baseg35 put up (the round one), is the black momo.
