steering wheel worn down ?

my steering wheel is getting worn down already, with 48k miles on it. Do you think I can get this replaced under warranty?

THink about it. Wear and tear items are not covered under a warranty.

Do they cover your brake pads?

^^wear and tear

there was a thread about this quite a while ago. people were complaining about how infiniti wont replace this under warrant yet other companies such as ford will.

Nope, I tried. I found a salvage yard that had a newer one and changed mine out.

how feasible is this?

i absolutely love how meaty the ///M steering wheels are. is it possible at all to export them into our cars and rebadge it? Or not necessarily get a ///M steering wheel but maybe an aftermkt steering wheel that's like the ///M wheels?

I just replaced mine from a steering wheel bought from Accordfreak. But $100 to rewrap is a lot less than I had expected.
