Very nice! Wouldn't bother taking the effort to do it since I know all the buttons by feel anyways, but still...good stuff...

According to the OP, it does fit. I went to Infiniti for pricing and they said its about $70 for the parts.

I got the part numbers for the cruise control and audio switches for the 05 steering wheel. My local dealer had one in stock and it is one part number for both pieces.

25550-AC700 for the non-premium equipped cars
25550-AC70A for premium equipped cars

I'm not sure what the difference is. The cost was about $83 but www.mynismo.com can get them for you cheaper.

Okay-

I'm so confused... trying to pick through what I need to do to get my '05 steering wheel to work in my '04. I know that I need to add a power line from my dimmer switch so that the lights come on off with the headlights. Which wire is that?

Then... what do I need to splice that into? the plug in the car that plugs into the actual '05 steering wheel? ground? the pictures are not matching up... is the above pic one of an '04 steering wheel? I would just rather not unplug plug in my airbag more than needed, and not be stranded without a car!

Thanks. Bascially, I was hoping for a complete DIY for this.

Chris

Okay, I was reading this post and got very confused, can someone post like a step by step DIY for this mod, all I understood was that I need to buy an 06 or 05 steering wheel and strip wires out of it?

^ No, everything is "WILLOW"...willow basically is a two-tone interior with TAN and a dark Lavender type looking color. Nothing in the car is brown, or comes close. The tan is like a CREME tan...
