Exclamation Rocking chair for a drivers seat

Hey peeps ....

My car has a driver's seat that rocks back and forth .... I looked under the seat and noticed that a bracket is broken ..... does anyone know of a recall that would get this fixed by Infiniti for free? I was quoted $1000.00 for a new frame under the seat

PLEASE HELP if you can!!

Jarhead767, here is a link, which I believe is the cure to your issue. Your situation should be fixed under warranty via the following TSB (Technical Service Bulletin).

http://www.infinitihelp.com/Ownershi.../ITB02-080.htm

I trust this TSB is your answer. Good luck!

Oh . . . And welcome to these 'Driver boards.

Will they still replace the part if your car is not under warranty anymore?

+1 Mine creaks pretty badly, and I've tried to clean/lube all the motor actuation, but it didn't help. As you can see, I'm well out of warranty.

Andrew, there is a mod that many have tried and successfully fixed the rock / click / creak issue.
See this thread, I've just been too busy to try it myself
