Rubber piece on 06 coupe front side windows

There's a rubber piece (near the side mirrors) on driver and passenger side windows. When I open the doors, I notice rubber is cracking at the top. Anyone else have this problem?

It's tearing about an inch long. My guess it's caused by the automatic window adjuster when the door closes. No pics yet...

I had the same problem in my 2004 before I totaled it. I was too lazy to do anything about it, because it wasn't really causing a problem.
