It only took 2 trips to the dealer to get it fixed. They ended up replacing the window regulator on the second visit. I haven't heard that damned noise since, it was driving me crazy.

Don't ask me how the regulator could fix such a problem but it did. They might have done something else too that they didn't tell me about.

At least it's done and over with (touch wood).
