Hi,

I'm seriously considering re-doing my headliner and pillars in black suede as well as adding some sound deadening. However I'm a little concerned that I will make my car feel more like a heartz (you know coffin car...i think i spelled that wrong) inside instead of the more luxurious effect I'm aiming for. Can anyone with a black headliner and pillars chime in and give me some advice. I'm literally a step away from buying the materials, but this is the last thing holding me back. I don't want my car to feel dead and dark inside, I want it to feel a lil more luxurious...and somehow the black and cream thats in there right now just feels cheap.

i think there's a huge thread on doin the interior headliner and pillars in black suede.

 

its def dark .. caskyline .. rookie and sundeviljay all have suede headliners a/b/c pillars .. its def darker .. look really good IMO .. never driven in their cars lately .. but i do drive M5's on the regular .. they come with black suede headliners .. and i love how dark it is .. def love the dark feeling inside the car

 

in that case i have to get my but into an m5 and take a quick peak around. BTW would anyone in the NYC / Newark area happen to have a G with a black headliner I can take a quick look at ???

I would go with grey suede instead....thats what i plan on doing.
