I30 Clock Swap with pictures

I saw a thread about an I30 clock elsewhere on this site and felt like the white clock face would be a better fit for my Willow interior. I found a used one for sale on eBay and bought it. It is a direct replacement for the stock black face clock. I also bought two Neo-Wedge Type B amber leds from autolumination to replace the stock backlight bulbs. These can be found in the 74 type bulb section of their website. Here are the results of this swap - I find the clock to be much more readable (even with the smaller hands) especially at night. The clock illumination is not as bright as pictured but LEDs are hard to photograph accurately. The part number for the I30 clock is 25810-3Y100.

Easy - pull the clock cover(see DIY elsewhere) and unscrew and unplug the clock (2 screws, one harness).

the cheaper thing to do is take the clock out, remove the 2 bulbs behind the clock and take off that amber cover...you will have a white light clock and its alot brighter, did that to mine, orange is annoying

The plastic bezel surrounding the clock is a real pain to remove. You have to pull very forcefully, I actually sliced my finger open when doing mine. Here are a few pictures of my clock swap with white LEDs. The LED picture is a bit over exposed, it doesn't look that good in real life.
