Try pulling the hand break up when going in or out from the driver side. My driver side seat won't move if hand break is off.

this happened to me; one of the seat motors/switch needed to replaced. I don't have a cost as the repair was covered under warranty.

just wondering if anyone would have an answer to his question besides having warranty fix it. I ask because it has just happen to me tonight after dinner. The switch still works but when my friend was getting out of the passenger side it didn't slide back or forward. Thanks in advance

I think there is a safety that doesn't let the seat auto-adjust unless the hand brake is on. . . I guess so it doesn't move all the way up when you are driving or something?

My driver seat sometimes will not move forward.
However, sometimes it moves forward or back while driving down the road!
I tried spraying some contact spray into the switch and it helped for a while.
But, it started doing it again.
Will be taking mine in for warranty work.
gl!
