I just bought an 03 G35 coupe and have two minor interior problems I'd like to fix...on my own hopefully.

1. The driver's seat doesn't automatically slide forward when it it is flipped forward for someone to get in the back. The passenger seat works. The motor is also good (the seat slides forward and back with the switch).

2. The roof lights don't come on when the driver's side door is opened. They do come on when the passenger door is opened. I haven't had a lot of time to look into this yet, but I pressed on what I'm assuming is the sensor for this and it doesn't feel broken or anything.

Sounds like the pin switch for your driver's door isn't working.
