look!!!

back burner project

update:

well here's the jist of it.. lots of orange film in the FRONT so you can just sand it all off BUT... you'll have to tape the black part of the face or you'll have a completely clear blank gauge face hahah..

As for the numbers.. i had to use a freakin push pin the scrape off all the orange crap on it.. more than a pain in the ***!!! You can still see a little orange in the numbers.. sucks.. i'm not sure if i want to scrape off the fuel/temp side... because those lines are even more thin to work with.

other side is done

taped off

how does blue look?

that's it for now...

Nice job so far david! I hope you will be going two-tone this time around. Let me know if you need any of that high temp lighting film I have. I got plenty of it! I think you should do the hash marks blue and all the letters white. This would give you greatest visability during the day (its the only think I would have done differently in my 04).

curious if the halo can be done in a different color than the hash marks? or is it too close together and will the colors blend?

Noticed something—the RAS light. Does that actually come on during moments of rear-active steer activation? Seems kinda silly that it would.
