Obviously everyone knows that there is a passenger side airbag on the right side of the dash board. You can see in front of the passenger where there is that huge open space, it would be a nice spot for a TV or whatever. I was wondering if you guys knew if there was some room between that dash and the airbag or if the airbag comes out in a different spot. Also, if I were to remove the Passenger side airbag unit would I pass inspection in most states?

i thought dual front airbags are the law now... (even the cheapest economy cars have dual airbags these days)

I don't know that any states actually bother to check for the airbags, but if you were ever in a wreck, and had a passenger who got injured, prepare to lose the lawsuit. Or worse, the life of someone you care about.

 

Yeah you're right, I think I'm going to leave it anyway.
