I think I have a rattle around there and wanted to check it out. Does it come off easily or does it feel like it's going to break when you take it off.

Also subscribed for future reference. GREAT pictures, thanks!
the clock finisher is a pain in the **** basically, you just got a grab hold of it as best you can (i know it sounds impossible), and pull straight back...not up, but back. it totally feels like it's going to break, but that's what you gotta do to get the SOB off.

WOW!!! how much weight reduction do you think you have accumulated by removing the interior? How much would the roll cage/bar weigh? whats next to remove? A/C? maybe replace the stock driver's seat w/a light weight race seat? Change out the glass w/plexiglass? (theres some weight right there)

And when are you gonna start thinkin about changing out some of those internals ??? Im sure you are itching to change out those cams, and maybe pistons while you're at it

already removed almost 200lbs. already have a seat (it's in the other link that i sent)...roll cage/bar would weight about 75-150lbs though depending on how many bars are used.

i'm pretty much limited in what i could do next. i don't want to get moved up too many classes and be non-competitive.

n1ck,
I need to pull up the carprt along the driver side door and quarter panel. What holds it down? it looks like it's stapled...

it's not stapled to the floor pan. all you have to do is get the carpet around those transparent/white clamp lookingthings that are installed on the floor.

though i will retain the dash, i will lose the vent ducs due to the roll cage. since i won't have any ducts, the ac and blower are going away, too

Whoa, and I thought DieselX and I were ballsy when we stripped his interior (he posted the pic here). Good luck with the roll cage, hope you do it nice and clean.
