i have this problem before, the door actuator is broken.
if u still under warranty than the dealer will fix it for free
or u can search for some diy and fix it urself.
i remember seeing a thread about diy fixing door actuator

good luck with the repair

I am currently having this problem, but have noticed it only happens when it has been sitting out all day in the sun and heat. It works fine when parked in the garage. Explain that.

Mine was an intermittent problem too. I had the lock actuator replaced and no more problems. It was covered by an extended warranty but if I remember right the cost would have been around $250 for parts and labor without it.

EXACT SAME PROBLEM!

What year is your car? I asked this and no one can explain the reason. Probably the actuator, but I don't want to pay that much since I'm out of warranty...

It's the actuator. Usually covered under warranty. Out of warranty will cost between $300-$400 at dealership, cheaper at an independent shop.

Sounds alittle on the high side. Are you still able to get an extended Elite Warranty?

That's insane! Like my post above said my dealer was about $250 for parts and labor and they definitely don't discount anything.
