Okay so I got an 05 IP G35, i had a custom system installed in the trunk and the guy used black sueade and this vinyl carbon fiber material. I think with the IP color car a black interior would do it so much more justice. However to change my interior from the tan color it is now to black i'm starting to notice exactly how many pieces there are... has anyone done a full interior swap out? could you tell me what pieces you had wrapped and what pieces had to actually be replaced fully? Thanks in advance... and if you need more details for my question I'll be happy to go further into detail.

 

I haven't done it myself so can't answer all your questions but you are right with one thing: there are a ton of pieces.

From what I've seen, most people will start with the seats as that is the biggest and easiest to swap. Then they start posting in the marketplace on interior part-out threads and try to snag center consoles, dashboards, door panels, etc.

I'm sure it takes most people awhile, and I don't know off the top of my head anyone who has done it all, sorry. but I bet people have!

 

i hate my tan interior. its pure crap. makes me feel old. I really want to convert it to black...
