Light on in the glove box

I just noticed that whenever the headlights are on; the light is on in my glovebox. Even when its shut. Is this normal?

I've got an 06 6MT with premium

Good to know. I thought maybe I broke a switch or something when I took it apart to install the ECU cable on my groundingGear.

Thanks-

yeah.. it's annoying.. i took the bulb out.. but i think putting a thin rubber seal strip would cover the light..

Yeah I only noticed it cause I was waiting in the parking garage at school and leaned way back in the seat and was like "whuuuuut?" LOL

Its definitely nice to have when you open the glove box but being on all the time seems kind of dumb.
