Made a iPod/Droid mount

Well I wanted to mount my iPod and phone on the same ProClip, so I cut a plate out of an old amp I had lying around. It's primered. I was going to use wrinkle paint but the plate looks fine without it. The phone has a great display to use with my Parrot CK3000 Bluetooth. ProClip should manufacture a similar plate.

freshly detailed car:

Very nice. My ProClip arrives Thursday.

Where did you get your wood trim kit from?

It's the OEM "Birdseye" wood trim. I am very against aftermarket wood trim kits.

OEM? No such thing as a Nissan/Infiniti OEM wood trim kit for our cars.

yeah there is, it was available on 05-06 G35s. I would kinda prefer the aluminum trim but the wood look wasn't a deal breaker.

yep the Car Mount kit uses a dual t-notch mounting system, which is a standard in the GPS world. This allowed me to mount the Droid holder to a standard swivel mount. The car mount is sooo nice. I DLed an app that only turns bluetooth on once it's in the mount. Saves a ton of battery life.

Edit: did some searching. My apologies, it looks like sedans were offered wood trim. Weird that they didn't offer it to the coupes considering we have the same interior (minutes the door pulls).

I asked Marcus and even he didn't know 05+ sedans had wood trim as an option. This is the first I've seen or heard of it.

^^Actually the coupe 05-07 comes with wood trim also. I see them all the time here, usually old people own the car. Super expensive pieces.
