I have been speaking to the people at Avalon Racing. They have a harness support bar that is SCCA approved the currently works in the 350Z but not the G35.

They have measured the G35 and are willing to manufacture the Avalon bar for the G35 coupe, but they need 5 buyers to make the R&D and Manufacturing costs back. I will definitely buy one, but basically I need 4 others or the price is just too high.

The 350Z bar goes for $350. I assume that with 5 buyers we can get a similar price.

Is anyone interested? If so, please respond and I'll forward your responses to Avalon. I would really like to see this happen, as I would really like to SAFELY put harnesses in my car without having a custom cage built.

I have been talking to Sparco about them making me a harness bar and they said it is in the works...I will commit myself in this grroup buy if the price can go under $300. Otherwise I will wait for Sparco's.

Where would the bar go in a 4 seater? Wouldn't it make it more difficult for people to get into the back seat? Also, I am not trying to joke around but if I get into an accident won't that thing injure my manhood?
