05 Sedan Rear Deck Squeak
Hello all,
I have had a rear deck area squeak for some time now and finally decided to gut the whole thing, apply some sound dampening materials, and be done with it. Much to my surprise, however, even though all of the interior has been removed (seats, panels, trunk linings, top shelf cover), the squeek is still there. It is apparent now that it is metal on metal rubbing but when I try moving any of the sheet metal around, I don't hear any noise. Does anyone have any insight as to what might be causing the squeaking sound?
