Weight of oem SEATs???

Has anyone weigh the oem Driver and Passenger seats? For BOTH sedan and coupe. I'd be very interested in these data, so if you have them please share here

Re: Weight of oem SEATs???

I would think the coups seats were heavier than the sedan, when im in my friends its so much more bolstered and looks way bigger, but also the sedan has the memory function and maybe the electronics add some weight, but thats what i think. Can anyone clarify?

Holy *****! 80 lbs. x2 = 160 lbs?!?!

Now, I'm seriously thinking of getting a pair of racing buckets for the track.

Re: Weight of oem SEATs???

Let me correct this here:

they are liftable by 1 person, they are heavy and awkward and in order to remove them without scratching my interior, we used 2 people. It was way to awkward and heavy to comfortably remove it by myself.

The Sparco Milano I replaced it with is 37 lbs without the bracket, which was another 3-5 lbs. I would *estimate* that the stock seat was closer to 60lbs. it *felt* twice as heavy.

it's not data, but it's what I got.

Gosh ... you've got Milano's too Josh???

Ok, now I'm really really kicking myself in the derrière for not asking you for permission to take her out for a lap or two at Buttonwillow. I NEED to find out if they are up to snuff for me before I take the plunge. ... currently looking at a pair of Milanos for very *cheap* If they are so so for my taste, I'd rather go full race buckets
