Does anyone have a schematic of the internals of the homelink mirror, or know where the antenna is located?

I'm trying to figure out if I can increase the range. My car seems to not work as far as my other friends (with different cars). I literally have to be like right in front of the gate/garage to open it, whereas everyone else can open it before they even get there...

 

i can open my garage from atleast 300 feet away , no joke.

 

Ive been wondering the same thing. It seems like it use to work from farther away, and just keeps getting worse. I think I have to be at least 40 yards or so for it to work.

 

Strange, I can open mine from down the street...

 

you will double your range if you wear this when you push the button.....
