AbyteZero,

Did you try it and confirm that it fits without issue?

Thanks for offering

Thanks for the info. I've also been considering replacing my old G35 seats with a newer set of 350z. My question is if I do this and convert over to the 350z seats what is done with all the existing seat electronics and heater for the existing G seats. My existing G seats electronics are getting shotty and don't always work or slide as they once did. Simple solution is to replace with simple sliding 350z seats no electronics.

why are there no answers to this...everyone that is commenting hasn't said they have tried/done it. Is there a first hand source out there to confirm the answer to this question? I have an 04 g35 coupe and i have an opportunity for some solid 03 350z seats. If there are no answers soon I will have to be the first known test dummy.
Thanks

Update on installing 350Z seats into G35.. no aftermarket brackets are needed. Just installed a pair into my 03 G35, 07-08 350Z seats. Low and comfy! 350Z seats in my 03' G35, direct fit

That's worth considering. Not sure I could give up the comfort of the heated seat though.

It's worth it.. I thought the same way about the heated seat, but the seats are warm without it due to the fabric.

I said the same thing when installing the seats, but it's my daily.. it can't always be clean 😂
Thank you, it was worth my $75 for the pair.

In the topic of DIY seats.... can I use the G35 coupe drivers seat to replace my G35X 4door? Need to replace the tracks/rails. Seat is fine but the seat only goes forward to a certain point and gets stuck.

Certain it isn't the seat gear? Those are like $5 to replace.

Yeah both the gears were shot to hell too but that didn’t seem to be it. I took the seat out & apart, took out the plastic guide strips in the tracks (they were bent & their bearings were jammed in the track) put everything back & still no dice. I don’t know how but the seat was a little out of alignment upon trying to put it back in, it didn’t line up w/ the bolt holes like it should, so I can only assume the tracks are possibly bent & that’s why it grinds when I try to move it fwd or bkwrd. A friend of mine says it could be from an accident but I don’t see any signs of trauma around the door, frame, or anywhere for that matter that would’ve damaged the seat in any way. It a mystery for now.
