Ive searched but could not get a definite answer. Is there anyway to add dual climate control if the car did not come with it? What would need to be swapped out? the lcd display and a/c unit? I am aware that I cannot just solder on the button but if I swap the entire assembly out could I attain dual climate control?

Anything is possible with money. That being said you will need to replace the whole ac assembly/heaterbox, whatever it is called (just woke up, can't think 100%) along with the body control harness for the new connectors, and then solder on the button, should be good with that. doubt it would need anything really expensive like a new bcm or anything.
