actually 03/04(and maybe 05) are teh exact same... the differences you may be noticing aren't the year, but 6MT vs 5AT...

I have an 03.5 and this is how my center console looks. The 03 has the ashtray where the slide cover is just a blank spot under the radio. My boy has a regular 03 and hates it.
