Glad to know people are using this DIY but if you have questions please post them to the thread, others may have the same questions.

Yes, you can still move the back part of your seat up and down without the cable snapping, provided you give it enough slack. and i also suggest that you move the part the wire connects to as far back as possible.

No, it is not neccesary to super glue the switches in, if you drill the correct size hole that the switches will stay in firmly. I ended up gluing mine in just for the heck of it but apparently i put to much in and the glue seeped into my switch from the hole that the axle goes through from which it rocks on. so i had to open up the switch itself and scrape the glue off of the contacts with a precision flathead screwdriver(for glasses). so just be careful and put a couple drops on if you want to go that route.

A combination of things, my buddies and I were always bragging about how "luxurious" our cars were to each other, one had an A6 and he wouldn't shut up about it. so I figured this would be all i needed in order to shut him up. but also because i had bought these seat heaters in an attempt to put heated seats in my base model Z, which i ended up totaling... so I had seat heaters just sitting around and figured "why not"? I wont lie though, when i was in the military I hardly had people in my back seats, everyone had their own cars. so it seemed like kind of a useless mod, but now as a college student, NO ONE has a freakin car lol so my cars full daily and my passengers love it lol
