I do not know about anyone else... but i tried bringing a girl in the back seat of my coupe and it would have been a WHOLE lot easier if that stupid hump was not there. okay so that is not the only reason i do not like the hump, it is kinda pointless. i would rather throw the med kit under a seat and have my whole back seat.

i know there is a thread somewhere about a retrofit to remove the hump and replace it with more of a bench type seat. does anyone know the link for it? ive searched for awhile now

 

Thats a long long time ago, he cut it out and had and took it to an upholsterer fill the gap.

 

the hump actually just pulls off so its kinda convertible. just pull up on it from the front and throw it in the front passenger seat and do your thing after 15 seconds of joy grab it pop it back on and be on your way. haha

but okay, im wondering if i can just pop it off and throw a pillow or something in there and re cover it up

 

Im sure you can take your car to an upulstory shop and tell them to fill the opening from where you removed the center hump. All it would take is some foam and vinyl or leather really theres not much skill needed either, go see what your local guys tell you. If no luck hit me up and ill see if a guy i know can make one for you and he can use my car for sizing.

get a Sedan, problem solved! you could bang out 2 girls in that back of a sedan lol

Yeah that's true ... But it will be so much harder to get 2 girls to be attracted to a family sedan Over a sexy coupe

not really, at least i haven't ran into this problem,

 

super easy to take off, just pull from the bottom-upward really hard and the clips detach from the rail, doesnt brake it at all, and can put it back as well.
Found a black pillow to fill it too..

 

It needs some kind of arm rest there instead of what's there..
