05-07 dash swap into 03 coupe :)

so i started my interior swap. i've always wanted to put the 05-07 dash and have never found anyone that did it. so after a years worth of collecting my interior pieces i have taken the plunge.

wish i got better pictures of my 03 crappy interior but it didn't hit me to snap pics until i started removing crap already.

finally started hacking away at the 03 harness since its not plug and play with the 05-07 ac/clock display. it was actually pretty straight forward with all the wires actually color matching except for two or three pairs.

put in my black steering wheel and jdm nissan airbag cover.....was tired of getting flamed for my hideous beige steering wheel that look like someone barfed on

this steering wheel is temporary though......some custom goodness is on its way from mr. ivory

after finishing the plug splicing and plugging in the new ac/clock display the lower ac controller for the jdm double din is actually plug and play and works with out any rewiring.

black ebrake, 05 radio support bracket, and jdm arm rest delete kit(courtesy of 6mt.sauce) came in

biggest difference between the 03-04 and 05-07 radio support brackets is that metal bar piece on the right one that supports the top cubby hole for the newer dash

not quite finish as you can see. still waiting for misc. pieces to come in to complete my interior. keep posted please

as for the 03 cluster i decided to keep it and make it work with the new dash. wen the black cover for the cluster comes in i will see wat modification i will need to make it fit on the dash.

05 cluster in the future maybe......to me theres not that much of a better look in my opinion....there is more detail pieces in the 05 but wen lit at night its not that much better to me.

also jus waiting on i believe ledmods or something like that....they've already started to make a custom housing for the 05 and said they would start the 03 next so i'll wait for what they come out with
