CF wrap- PICTURES INCLUDED!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/White...item20b94558c0

has anyone seen this stuff in person? for 20 bucks i think ima try it. wrap up a bunch of interior components. see what it looks like

EDIT: So last night i completed this. took me about 4 and a half hours. Not professional quality, some of the edges are hard to navigate. but overall i am extremely pleased with myself!!

also, im looking to do more pieces, i just dont know which. i am definately getting the part of the console underneath the arm rest thing. i am gonna try the clock area. possibly the radio center console. and then mabye the door handles on the inside, not just the door pulls.

lemme know what you guys think!!!

looks like a knock off brand from the original makers, 3M. I would stick with them just so you know that you are getting quality stuff.....IMHO.

This stuff is getting cheaper and cheaper. Price wise.

I was looking at this stuff several years back and it was 4-5x more expensive.

Yeah, for $20, it's worth a try. But don't over do it. A few things wrapped here and there, looks pretty good. If you're going to do the hood or trunk, get the real stuff. That's my opinion, anyway.

Was thinking of buying one (the black CF) for my radio panel cause it has a lil scratch here and there. How hard is it to shape it around the buttons and all? Never done it before.

Give me till next week and i will let you know! if you can wait a bit il give you a full description of my experience. I have a feeling its going to be alot like taillight overlays.

but what pieces do you guys think would be good? I was gonna do:

Center console from the radio area all the way down to the shifter part.
both door grips (vertical plastic pieces we take off to remove the door)
possibly the sifter? if i feel comfortable enough to take off the plastic part.
possibly the clock top piece, but that would be crazy to get all around the angles.

i think that may actually be in for me. keep it real simple.
i may try to do everything chrome colored on the inside. and then get some black CF and accent it a bit later on, like the lid i have because i dun have OEM Nav, or the ash catcher door.

anyone have any ideas?

Your wrapping skills are great, your choice in wrap not so great imo. I took off the shifter plate/console and arm-rest on my G last week then sanded them for primer and paint, I'm just wrapping the console doors, button and shifter plate. I think wrapping the stereo console would be too hard and too much.
