Rear Seat Delete

Tried doing a search but I didn't see anything come up so apologies if this is a repeat thread.

I'm thinking of doing a rear seat delete and just looking for ideas on what some other people who have done this did to the rear once the seats were pulled. I was thinking of just a piece of ply wood cut to shape to fit in the car crapped in carpet to match and just have a clean look. Any thoughts or idea of comments or what ever welcome.. Just an open discussion for now.

Why do you want to do this?
Some say weight reduction...
Some say I don't want to drive anyone around...

Just curiosity

Little of both? lol

This is the summer toy. If I need to bring anybody anywhere I'll drive the Jetta.

I plan on getting a good seat of front seats and just wanna pull the rears for I dunno.. uniqueness, style, lulz no reason in particular

Getting the seats out is very easy just look around you will see bolts. And as far as covering up the holes. You have a lot of options. Check out the custom stereo idea on line. You'll see what I mean
