Interior flocking??.

So I've been doing a lot of research, and as s one know will be re doing my entire interior completely. Now I came across flocking. Is anyone familiar with this? If not a quick google search will bring up what I mean. So I was debating doing suede everything and diamond stitching everything, but now I'm really on the fence. Flocking is more uv resistant than alcantara, and is much less reflective than it. Anyone have any experience. I'm seriously considering doing a lot of pieces with flock instead of suede. At least the dash. Any advice or help not his one???

I googled it and am also interested. I think it would be cool to get the roof and pillars done in black. Subscribed if anyone knows a local place!?

I know it,looks good huh. This was originally done with rally cars and race vehicles to cut out uv glare. But since It looks good, and instead of dropping 5-6k on a complete suede leather wrap, this will cost under a few hundred dollars i when all is said and done. I think it's worth a shot. I think it will look and feel close to what our a pillars feel like.

Ive seen it in person and it does not look so impressive, it is a cheap alternate to leather or suede wrapped dash (which is what ill be doing) but the flocking looks cheap. and the feel is not soft either

I've done a lot more research, and I'm still on the fence about it. Basically its like that velvet on the inside of jewelry boxes, or on the inside of Mose glove boxes are flocked. Cheap and easy. Price is basically foe a whole interior what it would cost for someone to wrap my a pillars in suede.

Hey guitar rocker. I would go ahead and do it lol. I just ordered 2 poinds of it and I'm about to go flocking crazy lol. My g35 dash is cracking. So I'm Doing my whole dash, pillars, and trims on the door and center console.

If it wasn't for the crack I wouldn't do it on the G bc I wouldn't need to. I'm mostly doing it on my 350z swapped 2j. I have seen it in person and it does look great. Just depends on who does it

How do you keep it clean? Does it need to be vaccuumed?, or can you just wipe dust off it...

I never did it, because I'm re doing my entire interior and flocking just didn't make the cut.
