Replaced Window Motor but Auto Functions not working

Hello all,

I read through all 29 pages in the DIY thread to see if I could find someone having a similar issue. It looks like I'm alone here.

My driver side window motor went out. I replaced it with the same one everyone has (Cardone Remanufactured) and it works (sort of). The window now rolls up and down all the way as its supposed to, however its having some problems. Here are the issues:

Issue #1: The most serious problem is that now whenever I open the door the window comes down about one inch. If I close the door and open it again, it will go down another inch. So every time I leave the car, I have to open the door before I turn off the car, the window lowers and then I raise it back up and then turn off the car and close the door. This is similar to the normal window operation which is supposed to lower the window down about half an inch when opening the door and then automatically raises the window up when you close the door. The difference is the amount the window is lowering and of course the fact that it is not automatically raising it back up.

Issue #2: I have no auto-up or auto-down

I have tried the reset procedure on the motor and the normal reset procedure from Infiniti and nothing seems to affect this.

Does anyone have any ideas here?
