is my 07 sedan suppose to have a "spring back" cup holder?

Hey guys ive been wanting to ask this question for a while now but just keep forgetting. I have an 07 g35x fully loaded + rose wood, everything but the sport package. My cup holder isnt flush with the rest of the center console. Im thinking it should be and be able to be pressed just like the ashtray/cigarette light port door. Not sure if the 07 has it but it just doesnt seem right lol.

Should the cup holder door have the one push spring back feature? Mine just leans forward on the plastic cup holder insert.

Not sure how to put a pic on this forum so heres the direct link to what im talking about.

any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
