Has anybody tried using the Raspberrie PI B3 to create their own digital dash? from what if read it doesnt seem to horrendous of a chore but i havent talked to anyone who has actually done it??? anyone?? Bueler...

There's almost nothing you can't do with one of those SOC's if you have the coding skills. I have no clue what it would entail using one for a digital instrument cluster though since it's not really my wheelhouse. I know you would need some kind of interface for the CAN system, you might be able to pull all the data from the OBD2 harness but a direct tie in to CAN would be better, not really sure what options there are for the CAN harness to USB.
