Looking for a donor 2005 G35 coupe dashboard, condition is critical. car had both airbags deployed, will be sourcing parts and doing the work myself. Would appreciate any leads to possible sources besides private as well, willing to travel or pay for shipping for the right condition.

Agreed, just trying to cover all bases. Availability is very low. Put out requests in bone yards etc. Seems this project will take a while.

These dashes are notorious for cracking, so you'll be hard pressed to find a decent example, and even if you do it'll eventually crack as well. You can pull and repair/paint them but it's tough to match the texture. I'm planning on repairing -> flocking my dash once the cracking is a bit more sever. If it's your daily, you might consider repairing whatever busted up unit you can find then swapping it in.

 

I've seen a few vinyl wrap dash projects that turned out really nice.

 

Appreciate the info, yes I had a small crack on the one in the car. It is not a dd and garage kept. I found an uninstalled dash on eBay but they are asking $1k with shipping, made an offer. We will see what they say. What do you guys think something in that condition is worth?
